Anyone else get randomly IP blocked for Ring of Brodgar? Do I really need to email the server owner to let them know that I was mistakenly blocked?

But there is no page on wiki for all equipment by slot, so if I wanted to know what options exist for necklace (2L) or gloves (4L), I have to manually look at the page for each individual equipment.

There where users crawling the website so hard that they took the server down (part of why RoB was upgraded to a beefier server). They were crawling the site for days on end, every page, every weird metadata they could find and ignoring robots.txt, so they got blocked.
Some blocks will be manually removed, but if your going to crawl the website, you must follow robots.txt. (Or get blocked again. + I(MvG) will ignore any related message from here on.)

What is robots.txt?

Basically says whether or not the crawlers are allowed to access your site, for exactly the above reason. If the load is too high for your little website host, you can tell them to kindly F off. But it's just a request, the crawler can ignore it.
