Community thinks so. Not sure what jorb/loftar's opinion on it is though.

Loftar said blocks burn twice as fast when its fully loaded. 40 blocks go in, someone has finished s 2 block load in 4 hours. Max a full should take is 80 hours *for willow* based on that statement loftar made.

I'm not seeing reports agreeing with this. I think the person doing the willow put in 8 logs and it had been burning 2 days (which directly counters what loftar stated the mechanic to be).

Numbers aren't exactly quoted, but the math still didn't work when I was looking at the original reports.

I put a lot of logs in, was trying to fill it but after like 30 or so blocks I decided that was enough and lit it. It was a random assortment and the thing has been burning for about 8 days now.. Luckily we have found tons of Coal in our local area. Just wondering if the thing is broken?

Can you show how tar-sticks-roofed house will look?

If you're referring to my post, the tar kiln is still burning (or at least it was 4.5 hours ago, will confirm again soon). Least optimistic estimate says 1 block in 8 hours, 8 blocks in way, WAY more than 2.66 days. Even if the initial block had been burning for over 12 hours, it's still impossible that it wouldn't be finished at this point. I know 8 blocks is the max because I only shoved a single inventory worth of blocks into it, and at that time I didn't have a leather backpack yet.

Thanks for the exact details, I knew the math wasn't adding up but that post was long gone XD
