Nope, "red handed" debuff keeps your character logged in, and you get it from stealing. Then you get the "Outlaw" debuff that keeps your character logged in for 5 days or so.

I've heard otherwise...

I think red handed is the one that doesn't let you hearth home. Outlaw is the one that keeps your character online for as long as it lasts for as long as your general area is loaded.

Are items now lost forever when you destroy containers in them? I was crafting mirkwoods and put some hollyberries inside Old log then absent-mindedly chopped it all the way and hollyberries didn't drop to ground. I checked that the hollyberries don't disappear when dropped.

There are no TP options besides hearth.

There are no TP options besides hearth.

You can use signpost to TP to the end of the trail instead of having to walk along it.

Chieftain role does not exist. Anyone can put on the fancy hat. Permissions are different, check the bottom of your kin list.
