And this too I suppose. Most of this was covered later by Sevenless' guide, with less early world rush. Even if the guide itself is rather outdated, it's worth checking for basic instructions on game mechanics and user interface.

How do you make a fire? as I understand you need a firebrand now.

I'll post some things here as I discover them. It's been useful for the people I meet and might be for more as well.

- You can drink water from buckets. This is useful because waterskins and kuksas are hard to get to apparently.
- You have to butcher animals several times for bones etc.

I had my bucket but i wasn't able to hold it in my inventory whilst it was full, so i crafted a Wooden Cup. 0.60l will fill your Stam bar twice.

For a fire, 10 sticks for the fireplace and 2 sticks for a Firebrand. Craft the brand and right click the fireplace don't click your inventory it turns to ash. Also you need half a bar of Stamina (it uses alot and it can fail)

Is there any way to enter a cave that is on a wall that is not visible due to camera positioning? I right click the icon on map and it runs like its going to go in but doesn't

You can use the middle mouse button to turn the camera.
