with regards to breeding quality, females may choose not to mate with males with a lower breeding q than themselves. I don't think you should need to prioritize it since the male with the best breed q will get the most pussy anyways.

Breeding quality of the male softcaps the stats of the offspring. As far as I know there are no other effects.

Then getting high Breeding should be a priority, as other stats wont grow without it.
