how to start a fishing?

I got fully equiped rod - bushcraft fishin rod with hook bait and string

And how im suposed to use it now xD heeeelp

Press (A)dventure and then F(i)shing, then click water where you see fish hopping out of the water.

Easy. Get some bait, worm, entrails, ants, or a moth, and right click on to your pole. Equipt it and go to a body of water with a jumping fish near by. Click on your adventure tab, click on fish, and then click on the water. (It should make your cursor turn into a fishing hook icon.)

Any insect works. Just be sure not to use that Ant Empress you're saving to study.

sadly after catching one fish, it auto uses the ants, despite having all the other bait in the inventory, be careful

You can stop fishing and add another bait to the line. Remember that the inventory works like a stack of cards: the last item you put on the stack is the first item taken off.
