As of last night, we're still trying to figure it out. Looks like some say they'll heal over time. Others may need a bandage or other treatment. No leeches or such found as of yet to automagically heal you.

If they are supposed to heal over time i am bugged. i am on my second character and not 1 HHP has healed. Don't confuse eating Con food and "gaining" HHP's. The descriptions of some say "this should heal on it's own" but unless they require you sleeping in a bed or somesuch it just isn't true.

I'm 100% sure it heal overtime , very very slowly tho ...
I spent a huge amount of time at 4/4/104 and eventually I've reached 5/5/104
(that char died , I blame the lag :D)

I think it depends on the actual injury you have. Some of them says will heal eventually, others may need bandages to heal.
