Agility Stat

Does this expand your stamina pool? Or does it reduce stamina required for certain tasks? Just curious about how important it is stat wise and if it can help negate the massive stamina loss.

Since there's no direct effect on stats, nobody can be quite sure yet. Experimentation over time will tell us what effects it has. Previously, it was a combat attribute that affected how quickly or slowly your cooldowns were compared to the other player, and was used in archery combat as part of an avoidance calculation compared to the other players aiming score.

Jorb?

I really need to know, I only have agility food and I need to go back to mining.

The wikis really need to be updated REALLY REALLY NEED to be updated.

I know people like stomping newbies, but don't you hate answering the same questions over and over?

It's mostly that wiki editing takes a special brand of person to enjoy. It's more fun for most of us to answer questions and get a thank you, instead of editing a page that can and will likely get changed around in the future and never receive any direct compliments over it.

Also, this post is ancient. Combat cooldowns have been confirmed, and are massively important in both hunting and pvp. I'm fairly certain it still acts as an archery defense, but you'd have to check the archery mechanics pages for that.

If you intend to hunt with melee, agi is good to keep up.

Edit: For simple questions like "what does agi do?", this megathread is the best place for quick responses: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=39862

For some things, such as swimming, CON does have a direct effect on stamina (and as I think on it, I think it's only swimming). For other things, it doesn't. Tools are more important in digging, lumberjacking, and carpentry. Tool Q and type as well as STR are important for mining.
