I did a test with mining hard walls right on the edge of my strength. My higher substance but lower overall quality stone axe was able to mine better than the higher quality one.

on a picture with a cave ,looks like i see there are sandstone ,but not feldspar:)

Ironically enough, that is actually feldspar. But the "dolomite" turned out to be limestone XD

Edit: Oh ballsacks you're right it is sandstone XD

Edit2: Fixed image and description, thanks for that catch! I have a lot of feldspar in my cave so I probably glanced and assumed lol

Great thread man, has helped me a lot.

There are enough dissimilarities from legacy that this has been a resource I've bounced back to a number of times.

I think you should put on your guide, that when your energy reach 0% you will die of starvation very fast (around 5 sec). Unlike when you are just starving, your hhp will only dmg slightly per tick.

I didn't know about it and lost my best char, while trying to build a wall. :(
