I think you should put on your guide, that when your energy reach 0% you will die of starvation very fast (around 5 sec). Unlike when you are just starving, your hhp will only dmg slightly per tick.

I didn't know about it and lost my best char, while trying to build a wall.

Thanks for reminding me, that's something that was in Legacy too so I didn't think to mention it explicitly.

More information, please. Were you in a boat before you logged out or the server or client crashed? Is this a new character and you were actually spawned in the water (just asking to be sure as you shouldn't just spawn in water)?

I'm going to bet this is the "spawned on a mac" problem. Mac computers have poor support without workarounds, so you spawn as the purple ball and can't do anything.

Maybe update java? Sorry mate I'm not much of a technical type when it comes to this stuff :/

Can't suggest much if we don't know the details. Please follow up with a new thread in Bugs if you want more information. At a minimum, we need any crash logs, and knowing what kind of hardware and operating system (version number) may help.
