How to trap boars ?foxes ?Hunting with a bow

i got 10 mm and always training with any targets but seems for me it's a bit weird ,first my hunting was a boar and i used a boat to aggro it and hitted about 250 damage but he ran away ,boar was at the ground and i hit him well ,next time i tried to hunt fox with a boat but can't hit ,she was in water and i used about 14 arrows and didn't hit once .is it broke ?
how can i trap animals ?If i aggro boar while i can ask my friend to block it with logs or signs ,can boar/fox aggro him while he do this ?
What the aggro range of bear ?
one time i was just walking far north east ,and when appeared bear on my map ,he run to me ,and ko'd ,what the hell ?

Basically, hunting from boats doesn't work anymore, so they found a new way to do basically the same thing.
