how can i recover hhp?

1/1/100. I don't have any gauze, so I think its hopeless but is there any other way to recover it?

currently the only method to healing hhp is to wait 3-4 hours in game with green energy bar saying (healing)

there are no leechs in the swamp and im not sure why it was removed, perhaps their intention was to make it time consuming to heal your health just as it's time consuming to study some curiosity items.

It depends on what type of wounds you have. You can check on your character sheet. The new item 'Stinging Poultice' might help.
