How long till you can loot the corpse

Hi so this morning some dude carried us a little dead guy,we thought hes alive but we came to a conclusion hes dead,so now his corpse is resting in my log cabin and im waiting impatiently to take his itsy bitsy stuff,how long till his corpse is lootable without theft?
