Do we still need to pave the ground to prevent the decay ?
I hope not ... while it was easy in legacy haven it''s not in hafen

You can pave an area, so where is the problem with that?

My guess is that it isn't implemented yet, but will be.

Depends on your area. Stones are insanely common around my home and we get even more from mining. Sure, we use them quick but easy come, easy go.

As far as I noticed there actually is a decay in the game. We tried to make a trap for animals, placed some walls without paving not too far away from the base and some of them disappeared already while some others appear to be damaged.
