Newbie, How do i eat?

Hey, im new and im wondering how do i eat my food, i have berries and nuts. but i can not figure out how to eat it, am i being stupid or is there something im missing???

some berrys and nuts are not ediable :/ not sure why there is so many "berry" and "nut" items and a lot are not eatable

Blackberries are good berries to eat because they give Perception which will help you find more stuff. Blueberries (a forageable, they show up on your minimap) are good too, they give you Int.
If you mouse over the berry or nut it will tell you what attribute it gives.

To eat the food, you right click on it, and it will say "Eat". If it doesn't say that--it's not edible.
