My results don't line up with that. My quat is plane wood, despite plane wood making up the primary colour as well. Spruce makes up secondary and tertiary.

According to jorb* It's possible he mislabelled it I guess.

Where did Jorbs image of the mansion go anyways? Was pretty handy.

Jorb probably took it down so I went ahead and uploaded it to imgur and changed the link. Should be there again.

Beats me then, it wasn't showing when I checked it so I figured you got tired of us leeching bandwidth from you. =)

another contestant to the ugliest house on hafen...

but it actually turned out exactly as we planned, funny enough. the only thing i'd change is the roof, would've looked better with tar, i guess.
anyways, i think we figured it out.

here's the material used:

151/250 feldspar
99/250 cinnabar

100/100 blocks of plane wood
60/60 blocks of plum wood

we think the 1st wood and 2nd wood take their color from the blocks you add, and the 3rd wood and 4th wood would be the boards.
that's why our 1st wood and 2nd wood is dark (plane wood) and the rest of the wood is pink (plum wood)

that would require more testing to say for sure it's how it works, but it worked for us at least!

Honestly it doesn't look bad. I agree that the green and pink clash though and a black would have blended better.
