Shields/Armed Combat

So has anyone managed to find any AC defensive combat discoveries, or is the shield just for show for the time being?

On that note any other attacks besides chop, or is UA the way to go for everything?

I've seen Chop, and in the trailer there's a stabbing move that I can presume to be MC, but no defensive moves.
