Archery on Horseback

Has anyone tried it? Does it work? Does the horse kick you off? I noticed the horse points in the direction you aim, I'm afraid I might shoot the horses head if I try.

Tried it, got knocked off and out cause I was at lowish HP

Yeah, but the horse looks in the direction you aim so how did you do that?

Nah, I've been playing around with it and there doesn't seem to a way to shoot sideways off of the horse. You must have just shot way off from target so it didn't hit the horses head.

I wasn't aiming at anything, just tempted to see if i could shoot off the horse. If you line your horse up perpendicular to your target I don' see why you can't hit things. I rather not risk playing with it from fear of accidentally hitting the horse

The thing is, even if you line your horse up perpendicular to your target- the moment you click to aim the horse will face the direction you click. You can't shoot from the side without an exploit of some sort.
