Archery Damage

Does anyone know everything that factors into how much damage you do with a bow besides just the Marksman ability?

e: and possibly the quality of the bows/arrows you're using?

Marksmanship doesn't affect your damage, it affects your accuracy (as does the quality of your bow). Damage is affected by the quality of your arrows and your perception.

At least, that's how it used to be, and that's how it seems to be now.

Currently, using a q8.7 Bow, Average q11 Stone Arrows, Marksmanship 10, Perception 11.

I hit anywhere from 100 to 150 damage, and i miss 1/3 shots average.

My guess is that the damage is similar to the old system, where damage is determined mainly by the quality of the Arrow, if a q10 arrow hits for 100-150, a q20 arrow should hit for 150-200ish?

Its yet to be figured out, but that's my guess.

Is there any difference in damage between stone and bone arrows?

Bone arrows have significantly higher base damage.

When you say you miss 1/3 of your arrows, where do you shoot from ? With Q8 bow, 17per and q10+ arrows I miss way more than that (Im not point blank shooting boars...)

Most people use melee aggro to draw them to a cliff and shoot them from 2-3 tiles away.
