Can I build a fence/palisade with a little inclination or need to make a pit?

A grade of + or - 3 works fine, anything steeper and you'll have to do some landscaping

i can confirm you can have a slope up to 5 - using the survey tool look for the peak to trough and make sure it reads 5 or less - 6 + will prevent any wall being built on slope.

I noticed gates need to be flatter than this. I didn't catch what the variance, if any was allowed, when I was recently building a fence, as I just pushed it down to flat.
