what caps mirkwood offering q?

Hello fellow hearthlings, I am wondering if some wise ones are willing to share their knowledge with me. I used some pretty good entrail and 10q mirkwood and 10q seed to create this item (mirkwood offering) and I only obtained q8 curio as a result. I figure some skill or attribute must be capping the q, does anyone know which skills or attributes are related? Thx alot.
