How do I use leetches on my bruise

just wearing them doesn't work and I can't use them like a poultice, is it just that as my leech burns tick away so will my bruise or what?

just wear them in your armor slots like usual. eventually they will tick yellow damage instead of red, and that means they converted some of your wound to leech burn.
seems fairly low chance though, i got only 6 bruise damage removed from taking roughly 150 soft hp damage

I assume leeches only function if you're online. Otherwise they could possibly deal HHP damage while you're offline.

Probably a safe assumption for now, but with comments jorb has made about the whole injury thing still under development, don't hold that assumption forever.

surprised nobody mentioned that bruises are self healing now... so you shouldn't need to use a leech on a bruise.

Heal it faster? Bruise heals at 1 HHP/ X hrs, leech converts the bruise into leech burns at the same time, which heal separately from and at the same time as the bruise... I don't know. I haven't found a swamp within a good 30-45 minute walk at least. I've been too busy collecting string and stuff to build with to bother searching one out.

Just wear them. They don't always convert points.

Also very worth noting: 10 points of leech burn took <8 hours to heal. In that time, my bruise healed 4 points. So leech burns also heal much faster.

I'd say it's not terrible, leeches are easy to get and make bait if you bloat them.
