Gain Experience Points

Hey guys,

So I am in a village where each person has roles and what not. Resources are allocated in order of priority.
I have come to a grinding halt on being able to progress further on my character as I cannot use new items
to access different things in my crafting menu etc. as they are being used to further the village.
This is making Experience next to impossible to get (am down to 800 and it will not go up) as i have done all
the things i can.
I have played haven prior to this new model and i do know what to do quite well and i do not think i am missing
what to do.
If i am can someone please let me know
I have read through other threads and it seems very generalized as to what to do and I think someone needs to
shed some light onto this.
I do respect and like the idea of people having to find things and figure out how to do things by themselves, but
it seems to be getting a little ridiculous.

you need to change up what you are doing. if you just do the same things over and over, you wont get any new experiences. go take a walk, do some random stuff.
I do different things everyday, and i have like 7k xp and it keeps going up.
