So how does taming work?

Postby alioli » Thu Sep 10, 2015 3:47 pm

I've looked around a lot on the forums and most threads talk about some aspects of it, but nowhere can I find from step one how it works.
So, what I've gathered from In game is; I need a rope, a trough, and a thing to tie them to (got that)
That's about it. when I right click an auroch (or Mouflon which I suppose would be easier) it says that it "thrashes wildly"

So, can someone walk me through it? Or point me in the right direction because I'm at a loss here.

You didn't search well enough man: viewtopic.php?f=40&t=41564
Basically the system is kinda broken and I would not recommend trying to do it until the devs fix it, unless you want to spend a lot of time with trial and error

I have seen that thread, and atleast the OP is not helpful at all.

Taming doesn't work right now. There's a fatal bug in it preventing anyone from taming anything. When taming does work I'll probably write out a proper how-to with pictures.
