The 20k Tresspassing Skill

I know a new character can simply have Criminal Acts turn on to move through claimed territory, but that's it. What can I do if I purchase the 20k trespassing skill? Can I take/destroy stuff on claimed territories, or do I need
another skill for that?

Take = theft, destroy = vandalism, look in crates/enter doors = trespassing.

The should really rename that skill to snooping or something, and give all characters trespassing by default to make it clearer.

If you get Trespassing, then you can only interact with objects on claims, like looking in cupboards and using various objects. However, I don't think you can steal anything.

One thing you are all forgetting to mention is, trespass enables foraging on claimed lands, where as without trespass if you see a really good curio or even just a shit curio, (why are you picking shit curios after spending 20k on a skill?) you can't interact with it because it says. "This land is owned by another person."

Just to be clear:

No skill = criminal acts on = walk on claimed land (leave scent?) but cannot look in cupboards, take foragable items

Trespass skill = criminal acts on - walk on claimed land (leave scent), look in cupboards (scent) but not take, take forageable items (scent?)

Theft skill - Criminal acts on = take out of cupboards/houses (scent)

Yes?

You still leave tresspassing scents when entering claims without skills.

In legacy Haven it was Theft skill. I don't have Trespassing, so I couldn't tell you if it still exists/how much lp cost.

I believe you're correct. Destroy and forage were vandalism scents, before. Taking stuff was theft, and just walking on was trespass, but now you can just do that (but not look in containers) with criminal acts.
