Cannot boil silkworm cocoons

I seem to be stuck in my silk progress. I got cocoons and I cannot boil them.

Looks like I tried everything, even unlocked loom to be crafted. But here I am with cocoons, no idea how to boil them into strings. There is option to kill them. When I did it first time I got some lp and that is it. I cannot right click while at the boiling cauldron to unravel them, I cannot place them into cauldron either. Tried take them into hand and right clicking cauldron, tried doing so with loom and spinning wheel. Both alive and dead cocoons. I am really out of the ideas now.

What do I miss? Help? :(
