quality explained?

I know I asked something like this before but I see that survival increases one aspect of quality on foraged items. but the other 2 are always 10/10. what would I have to increase to make it atleast equal or is it just having to find the right location?

It's about finding the right location. There are 3 different quality nodes now and the difference qualities interact with different objects in unique ways, such as increasing FEPs on food or reducing hunger. Curios are just an average of the 3 though.

Armor needs Ess/Sub, Weapons Need Sub, Food needs Vit

To simplify it a bit. Stat bonuses are proving to be tricky to figure out.

Yeah, I'm not even going to try giving specific information on quality until its been mapped and figured out thoroughly. At the moment I don't know how it interacts with a lot of things.

I've seen that armor gets def from ess, absorb from sub, wear from vit. I've personally tested and it seems that sub is the damage booster for both melee and archery based damage. And we know what the three values for food are, but I think it's safe to simplify and call Vit the most important there.
