Does it work like old haven? Or do I have to dig around everywhere trying to find ore?
And how far do I have to dig from a cave wall to get smushed by caveins? Do cave walls or floors provide any support? Or no?

Find and make Rustroot extract ,use it to find any ore by walking outside above a cave and you will find ore .Prospecting is a nice thing ,nodes can be really big
Every tick can make collapse ,probably depends of luck
