Beehive honey

I suppose honey is being produced by 0.01l every time a crop stage changes, in other words, every time a beehive speeds up a crop. Right?
Will planting a crop also produce 0.01l honey?

It seems planting does produce honey. I've not paid attention to quality this world, but planting used to lwer the hive's stored quality by half.

Not sure if I understood you correctly.
Let's say I've got 0.20l 20q honey in the beehive. If I plant a crop I'll have 0.21l 10q honey, right? If I plant another one that will be 0.22l 5q honey then?

0.20L 20Q
+ 0.01 L 10Q
----------------------
0.21 L ( 0.20x20 + 0.01x10 ) / 0.21 = 19.5 Q
