Hello,

can I have some tips on that minigame? Spent on it already 1h and have not slightest idea how it works.

Kind Regards,
Chris

I would also like any tips if people have found them. I know Salem fishing, but even this feels far too random to be useful. One direction of pulling for the same fish doesn't appear to actually catch it.
Was at "mid" fishing levels, got The Trees Rustle, pulled Up, my guy leaned back. I got the same thing three more times, I pulled up every time, but still didn't catch whatever the fish was.
Much confusion.

There are 2 positive and 2 negative answers for each phrase. They vary for each fish type. To advance to the next stage(or the opposite) you need to gain certain amount of points. 1 positive and 1 negative weight 1 point each, the other 2 weight more. That's not really confirmed for each phrase for each fish yet, but, for example, pressing "down" for "It shifts" for Catfish instantly catches it even if you're at mid stage.
Also phrases are not random. Which phrase you get depends on the prev phrase, your answer to it and a fish type.

Ah, so its going to take quite a bit of practice to figure out which phrases are for which fish.

Well, it's hard in the beginning, but once you get some info you can control the fishing and try different moves without losing the fish(you know lots of positive so if you hit negative you'll most probably recover and get the info)

Ok, but how to depermine that move was possitive?

Advancing to the next stage means your last move was positive.
