I know this is another "how do I tame" thread but...

...it's twice now the animal won't yield. I do nothing but defend, only attacking if I don't have a defense card up. Trying to tame a sheep to I can provide more Gauze, but the leaf thing never pops up. What exactly do you do to tame sheep? Where does the leaf thing pop? It pops up for a brief moment and then it aggroes you again if you don't cancel the fight in time. Just yield yourself the moment you start a fight. That way you won't miss it, the fight will immediately end once the animal yeilds.

What move do you use to attack it? Maybe you deal too much damage and simply kill it before it manages to yield

how to I yield/cancel the fight? can someone recommend a deck to me? I try to use the weakest attacks (i.e. against w/e defenses the animal has up)

For sheep I'm using quick dodge, watch its moves, and punch. I just keep defences up and spam punches when I can. When you engage the sheep, click the red sword thing beside its portrait. One of the swords will turn into an olive branch (signifying you yielding, when both parties yield the fight ends.) Past that just punch it until the sheep yields and combat mode ends.
