So, out of general curiosity, and due to spawning in surrounded literally by four boars on each side of me, all at about a screen's distance....

Are boars passive?

No they are most definitely not passive.

They don't tend to be aggressive often if you're moving at a crawl/walk speed and keep 10 tiles away though.

I head that if you sprint right up to them and stand still in front of their face, your character will hug the boar and it'll give you a permanent 20 str boost.

no but really, they'll kill you
