Grinding Quality

Postby raybon256 » Tue Sep 22, 2015 8:33 pm

Hey guys, I've been an active player so far and now I've got a little of every crop, and every skill other then Melee and Smithing is 10 or better (farming is 15 and survival is 20) and every stat other than Charisma and Psyche is in the 30s. I got every Nature skill other than Druidic Rite and working on that next. How do I go about growing high quality crops, trees, and farm animals? I understand my stats softcap quality but once I get to a certain point how do I influence quality?

the qualities generally keep going up on their own if you take care of them and your stats are high enough, save for the occasional bad harvest that goes down a bit. for crops it's as simple as this (but quality may go up slower if the soil is bad). trees need a good pot, good soil and water, and a good herbalist table (which is made from good wood and fibre so it grows along). animals get better by breeding two of the best in the stat you want, as long as quality food is available (which you should also have from your crops). get your farming up a bit more, the random range per harvest is 5 so you'll reach that limit quickly.

So I don't have to tear my hair out looking for HQ nodes (not saying it wouldn't help).
