Taming issues?

So I leashed a mouflon, and two aurochs all individually and put them each in their own pen leashed to a hitching post. People have mentioned seeing yellow 15s rise above their animal at some point before it enters fighting stance, but I have not seen these numbers (I could have just missed them) and my animals haven't entered any different stance from when I first put them in their pens. Its been probs around 8 hours at this point. How long does it usually take for them to enter fighting stance, and does it sound like I have done anything wrong?

When you leash them to the post, the yellow 15 will show. Thats a % til the animal is finished taming. Animals enter this "ready" mode, and they stay that way for 3-6 hours, I can't remember which. Then they stop being in anger mode. It's quite possible your just missing it when your asleep.

with all due respect, given the frequency i log on(before i sleep, and the first thing i do when i wake up, sleep for 5 h ), there is really no way in hell i am missing it

So my mouflon entered combat stage. So I went and opened its gate, and clicked attack. It broke away from its hitching post and ran after me, but I was unable to use any combat moves. They didnt show up on my screen at all. Did I do something wrong?
