Declaimed a plot yet didn't get refunded

Why is that? I wouldn't of done that if I wasn't going to get LP back.

There should be a notice when you declaim you won't get a refund. On the other hand because we have bonds of B&S this can be abused. So this *IS* the lesser evil.

I would be ok with a notice, but I didn't get no notice. As I said I wouldn't of done it if I had known.

Agreed that a little ingame warning wouldn't go amiss.

A warning would be nice, but heck, you only need to get burned once to learn the lesson for good. Thankfully I was abandoning a spot rather than just moving my claim, so I didn't really lose anything.
Next time I move I'll stick my bond in a crate outside my claim for whoever wants it. Assuming I move again before I stop playing again or the world gets reset which would be totally OK by me I did a lot wrong the first few days and I know I could do far better if given another chance

I did as much when I moved the first time. I dropped it on the ground, week later it was still sitting there lol.
