It's not complicated. Eat food with lots of str FEPs such as roasted boar meat. Once you have a significant base of the stat you want in the FEP bar eat low hunger, low FEP foods to lower the total number of FEPs that you need to get a stat point. For example, 1 roasted boar meat, 1 carrot, 1 beat leaf, 1 beat, 1 black currant, 1 red currant, 1 elder berry. You have a small chance to get other stats instead of str in that setup but odds are in your favor that you'll get a str gain. Initial FEPs required per stat gain is equal to your highest stat.
