Training Horses?

Postby Heahsler » Thu Sep 24, 2015 9:20 am

I've scoured the forum and wiki for how to tame horses, I cant find a thing, unless its further along in Sevenless"s newbie guide... Can someone please help me out by giving me some do's and don'ts of taming horses?

You can temporarily ride a horse by feeding it a clover (chance to fail.) Taming is keeping an animal Permanently (Auroch > Cows or Mouflon > Sheep.)

>Feed Clover
>Rclick horse and click the first option
>Ride around

Be careful though, once the "Pony Power" of the horse gets to a certain level, the horse will kick you off (damaging you.)

If out of pony power, can you feed him another clover (or a carrot) and ride it again ? I always wanted to try it but I always ended up without clover or carrot with me.

I read you can. But I also read that getting thrown off a horse can kill you, so experiment with caution... So oxcarts, do you lead them? I'm dragging around a cart right now and its pretty effective. Do the Ox make it more effective or faster?

i find if you start looking for a new horse when you're falling below 30% pony power, you can pretty much keep going indefinitely.
