Trees and bushes distance for planting

So well short question. Are the trees far away enough?
And also whats wrong with the tea brushes? i planted them at the same time, one grew quite nicely second is still with no progress (the hollyberry bush wasnt planted).
And does brushes need any distance for planting? or can they be just planted one next to another: I planted some bushes just at my palisade and they are at state where i can harvest only 1 berry and doesnt seem to grow more. (didnt want to risk that with tea coz i dont have much tea around my area, so tested on some random berry bushes).

Jorb stated there's no hitbox detection anymore. Instead the stunt chance is determined via RNG at plant.

Not sure if I understand it correctly? So I can plant even trees next to another without leaving any space?

Yes, that is correct. Leave a bit of space in the direction you want logs to fall so that you can get them though.

Don't need a link. I've seen a couple of screenshots with trees planted in rows or next to walls. Note not everything jorb says is here on the forums. They'll spill a lot on IRC if you can catch them online and answering questions.

Don't believe it? just plant a couple of trees next to each other and see how they grow. ;)

He did say it on the public forums though, I'm just too lazy to pull up the quote right now.
