is there no forest (dark green kind) biome in the far north? whats going on, I cant find string to save my life, help!!

I was venturing far north and indeed there are forests!

Biomes come in large, LARGE chunks. Sometimes you just gotta walk :/

I've Updated my map 3 times with 800+ tile updates... That plus my 5 hour walk from last week, I think I'm far enough to settle somewhere
