Theft, Vandalism and Claims

Postby raybon256 » Tue Sep 29, 2015 2:53 am

A village near me has some griefer coming and spamming claim posts to stop their wall building. I was wondering:

If you can vandalize claim posts.
If so how much soak does a claim post have?
What skills are available after you get the 20k Tresspassing skill, what do they do?
If you leave a crime scent, can you detect your own crime scent?

Claims can only be destroyed under 4 circumstances: You are the claim owner and you destroy it, you use a ram to destroy it, the claim was built on land already owned by a village (extending onto claimed land will not permit you to revoke it), or 2 months of inactivity go by and the claim becomes defunct and can be destroyed by hand by anyone.

Theft lets you pick up objects and items on a claim you do not have permission on.
Vandalized lets you perform actions such as digging, destroying, building, setting down piles, etc on a claim you do not have permission on.

Perhaps claims are too easy to make. Arguably there should be a placement LP cost at least.
