Milestone & wooden trails

If a trail is built using the Wooden Roadsign, and then the initial roadsign is smashed, can you place a stone Milestone and re-connect the trail to the new Milestone?

Yes you can. Just right click the nearest sign and connect it to the milestone. Milestones and roadsigns cannot have 2 trails with the same name though, so if you try to do this in the middle of a trail you'll need to break half of the trail and redo it.
