Seems you're getting screwed by RNG. Should only take a day or two.

Make sure there's room for the animals to move around and path-find to each other.

Can check if the ewe is pregnant by inspecting it.

They are both in a small area with paths to each other and plenty of food. Is there another requirements?

Have you tried playing some romantic music on a flute to get them in the mood? ;)

I'm testing a theory on why this seems to happen.

Someone mentioned that animals need to be 100% on hunger to breed. But loftar also stated animals don't eat until they hit 90% satiation (this I think is different from legacy).

My theory is that if animals get out of sync hunger cycle wise, they never meet the conditions for breeding. I tried starving my non-sexing sheep, but they just eat ground tile grass the second they hit 90%. I'd have to make a paved pen for them to starve them both below 90% and then feed them simultaneously to push them up to 100% together.
