What affects the quality of the Kiln besides the Clay Q?

I built kiln using 32 25 20 q clay, than check it quality with inspect, and it shows 32 27 16 . Why it's like this?

Yes, yes you did. Nothing else affects kiln quality. If there was a stockpile of clay nearby it may of dragged some blocks from that.

We had a similar problem in my village and we concluded it was likely caped by survival.

We would have to test more though.

Buildings do not use ability caps when being assembled. But drawing from touching resource piles has happened to me too.

Well, we thought it was strange too, but we were pretty sure there wasnt other resources to drop the quality, so idk

How long ago was this? There was a bug related to some buildings mysteriously losing quality a while back (something about weird rounding errors).
