Bee hives not making wax?

Postby Floofins » Sat Oct 03, 2015 8:03 am

So I've tried everything I could find on the subject. I tried spacing the beehives out, I tried using a variety of crops around them, I've had them set up for over 24 real-life hours and they haven't given me a single unit of bees wax.

Here's a screen shot of my current set up (it's a work in progress), can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

From what I understand/think, to produce wax the beehives need 60 ticks. a tick is 1 Crop stage(?).

And Im not 100% confirming this, but apparently they dont work with Flax or Barley.

I recently showed proof they work with flax. Jorb confirmed it's not supposed to work with barley

Does that mean barley cant be speed up by beehives ? Or is it just about no honey and wax from barley ?

These are the old numbers. Nobody has a clue what the new are.

Also beehives have quality levels that you can see with inspect action. I wonder what it do - does it affect how fast behive get charges/bigger charge pool - or is it only honey/wax ql ?

I think it's still sped up, I can't give you any proof but I remember one half of my barley fields being a stage ahead of the other when it was half covered by a skep

Edit:

I don't think it has any effect, the Q of the produce is determined by the q of the crops as far as I can tell
