How do I "describe" a kin to someone else?

I'd rather be able to keep track of the people I've met and let others know about them. It's practical and makes sense. We all know who Hammurabi is because we've spoken and written about him through the ages.

I'd support this if we have another way to get to a village we wish to join. Other than that, if you can't keep your raiding party in sight of each other, you're SOL.
