When a claim expires, what happens to it?

Does it dissapear?
Does it let you tresspass and access the stake?
Does it turn into a massive sign saying FREE CLAIM ASSHOLES

It sticks around, but, if I recall right, you can walk across it without leaving any scents. It exists, but it doesn't work as a claim, much like a village claim with no authority.

You can do anything on it without leaving scents or needing criminal acts. You can destroy the claim by hand.
