UA Hunting

In Haven Legacy I had this strategy to hunt, on the beginning I was only pushing the advantage because animals couldn't reset it to the point when I was really much stronger so I could kill animals while not being that powerful. Is this stiill avaible in the new Haven?

Fair combat. Decent armor to ping the low damage green attacks (so you don't need to waste cooldowns on blocks) is useful, but not 100% required.

I just use jump/left hook to kill boars.

I dont belive this - boar should KO you with 5UA and really fast

Everyfucking body here is able to kill bears with 5 ua. I kill bats with 20 ua and no armor, and even blocking them and shit i barely survive those encounters. You must fight with max health and armor and shit.
I'm still waiting some normal person to post a guide about how to fight without beeing a pvp god in legacy...

When they'r running for their lifes, they don't attack back
That's how I'm hunting with 5 UA (1 base), 11 MM, 22 per, 8 agi, q10 bow, q10-12 arrows. Cliff for the first shot, when he runs, run for it smashing any attack cards hotkey on the keyboard, profit

2 nettle shirts, 2 nettle pants, my life is cut in half because of wounds that I need to cure.

But yes, if a boar aggros on me, he can put me down in one hit. Even a fox can put me down as fast as I can blink. But, when they'r running, they turn into rats waiting to get killed without reacting!

Maintain distance and stack defenses. Quick Dodge + Watch Its Moves + another green/blue defense will soak up 1 hit at a minimum. Use distance between yourself and your opponent to get through your cooldowns so you can engage them with all of your defenses ready to go as well as an attack.

They can have 2,000 UAC and you could have 1, but since combat delta caps at 50% for the weaker person and 200% for the stronger person you will always be able to break half of a defense bar on them per attack and they can only break 2 defense bars on you per attack.

Try to hit colors it's not defending against. If the animal has a blue/green defense then use moves like Knock Its Teeth Out. If it's maintaining Yellow/Red then use Punch or Chop. If its using a 4-way defense then use Punch twice to break it and continue.

Quick dodge whenever your Quick Dodge breaks and Watch its Moves when you can as well.

Even as the underdog you can probably kill deer without too much trouble but you'll end up taking damage. Boar are even easier as you can just switch to run speed and wait for their defenses to drop before getting free hits on them, then running away when your defenses break.

Leather Armor will save your life.
