After death

Why, after the character's death does not inherit anything except the hearhfire?
Or 100k LP had to be free is not in talents?
As a result, the legacy left key of claim and the hearthfire from the first character. No single point of talent, although the original character's been very good.

In legacy, we had a slider for things called personal beliefs, which influenced many things, including retrieval of lp after death. With the removal of said system. Jorbtar decided to make inheritance only the hearth and any claims of the ancestors. No skills/lp/stats are returned to the descendants. As for items on your person, those are up to you to retrieve from your body.

The approximately 5% of LP you got back was kind of pointless, in my opinion. Even if you were full tradition, it was still under half of everything you had spent. If you've established any kind of hermitage or are a part of a village, you'll get those stats back in just a few hours of play time, and if you can get your old skull, you'll get 1% of your old LP back.

Not sure what you mean here.

Not sure what you mean here.

If a player has worthy, dead, characters (INT 50+, LP 100k+) he may now as one of them visit The Hall of the Gods by exiting the character creation room using the Rainbow now appearing to the left of the starting pool. The Hall of the Gods lies in the midst of a field of neverending battle. Weapons and armor of every kind lie scattered, and death is a passing condition in this twilight realm. In the Great Hall itself a mighty swine hangs ever roasting, and when you partake of its flesh your combat relevant stats (strength, agility, constitution, unarmed & melee) are instantly buffed to wherever you want them. Eating of the swine also restores your stamina and health. Feast and do battle until the End of All Times!

I guess there's no more inherited LP? My friends and I were murdered and we tried inheriting and got 0.

Correct, the game is no true permadeath from a character perspective. You get ownership of your claims though.

Uhm, could you explain this a little? Is it an actualy mechanic? Does the 100k lp have to be available or can it be spent? Is this on the original character or the legacy inheriting the old character's things?

It's in the patch notes under Valhalla Rising, there's probably a big discussion there.

I remember reading that it can be spent lp. It's not that you have to save it up, but that your character has to have been active enough to have earned a certain amount.

100k+ lp total acquired during lifetime. I don't understand the second question, but inheritance is irrelevant for the mechanic. You may still inherit the character, for example.

So just to clarify.

You get your claim, and everything on it, and only 1% LP if you get your skull?

What do the burials do now? Do you bury your skill for the LP?

Do you spawn at your Hearthfire?

What steps does a new character take in order to do these things?
I wish to join a SMALL community or a newish player.

My fave tasks are Hunting, Fishing, Mining, Building, Crafting

I like free stuff so please keep it in the claim or I might claim it myself. Fair warning anybody could do it :P
