Lagging in town, fps drops?

Okey so the game works perfectly smooth for me when im outside but when i enter the town it starts to lag, feels like fps drops, especially when i move around, my pc is rather average but still should be enough for haven

my specs are:
AMD Phenom II X4 3.2ghz
4 GB RAM (maybe an issue here)
NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 1GB DDR5
i'm on Windows 7 right now


any ideas what cause it? and ideas how to incrase my fps? i already turned off flavor objects, got simple crops and foragables etc. all my settings are basicly low (no anisotropic, no antialiasing etc.) using Amber client.

Take a screenshot of the area you get FPS drops and post it. It'll be easier to help that way.

Your computer is pretty below average, and you've probably just got so much stuff in the town that your computer cannot handle it. Consider moving stuff or if you don't need it, getting rid of it entirely. One thing to look out for is stockpiles, lots and lots of them can cause my computer to suffer from FPS drops, and I've got a GTX 970.

mine gets a little laggier when there's a lot of stuff going on, like on my town.
it goes batshit when i'm foraging on swamps, it's crazy. but nothing i can't deal with, hopefully.

@ Swamps, i've noticed the spam of swamp footsteps seems to murder the audio cache much harder than most other sounds.

@Town, the Idol sound for me gets horribly distorted, as well as likely the particles used in the whole fire animation. Fires themselves are much less HD, the that idol Crops too i guess, can get intensive, but mostly (as has always been the case for me even in Salem, which i assume is still similarly structured) it's anything with particle effects involved.

My village is also crazy laggy for everybody in it.

I suspected it might be the beehives, it seemed a lot worse after we mass created bee hives.
