Hitched arouch wondered off...

i had a hitched arouch in side my walls but when i opened the door to go outside for a sec it went outside. i cant use a rope or clover on it to get it back did i just lose that cow ? literally only like 2hrs till i could have started to tame it.. much sad..

Well it won't despawn (it has a range it can wander from the hitching post).

If you tame it in 2 hours, you can lead it back inside to re-hitch it.

Cow is gone to the wind. Someone probably aggro'd it. Need to have them ~22 tiles away from a wall to prevent pranksters.

D: you have to re-hitch after every tame attempt? guess i should have done some more research before i started. hitched a new one, beat the crap outta it 24 hrs later. only for it to despawn cause i didn't re-hitch it? *sigh* learning experience but that's kinda crap.. wasting a bunch of valuable time or some really stupid crap RN xD

I wanted to move the first arouch I roped to a hitching post and I right clicked a rope on it... it gave me some kinda message about it thrashing wildly or something... a few hours later it despawned... so I would watch out if you have tried to right click it with a rope and you get that message. might despawn on you as well.
